LHCC Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Carer to assist the Registered Manager with the day-to-day operation of our residential and supported living mental health services. The successful candidate will lead shifts, supervise care staff and ensure that high standards of care and regulatory compliance are maintained.

£13.35 – 15.00 per hour
Hours of Work
Full-time – Day, Night, Weekend Shifts
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and support care staff during shifts.
- Lead shifts and ensure high-quality, person-centred care is delivered.
- Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the service.
- Assist with care planning, risk assessments and medication administration.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding and organisational policies.
- Mentor and support junior staff and new starters.
- Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing for people with mental health support needs.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care, Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification is desirable.
- Applicants currently working towards a relevant Level 3 qualification will also be considered.
- Previous experience in a senior care or support role within residential care, supported living or mental health services.
- Good knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and person-centred care.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to supervise staff and lead shifts effectively.
