LHCC Group is recruiting an experienced and motivated Team Leader – Mental Health to support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of our residential and supported living services. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior care professional looking to progress into a leadership role within a growing organisation.

Hours of Work
Full-time – Day, Night, Weekend Shifts
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management and operation of the service.
- Lead, supervise and support care staff to deliver safe, effective and person-centred care.
- Oversee staff rotas, shift management, recruitment, induction and ongoing staff development.
- Develop, implement and review care plans, risk assessments and support documentation.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding legislation, organisational policies and quality standards.
- Promote recovery, independence, choice and community inclusion for people with mental health needs.
- Support medication management, incident reporting, internal audits and continuous quality improvement.
- Assist with budgeting, service administration and maintaining accurate records.
- Participate in the on-call rota and deputise for the Registered Manager when required.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required
- Level 3 Diploma (RQF) in Adult Care, Health & Social Care or an equivalent qualification is essential.
- Applicants who are currently working towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or equivalent) are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within residential care, supported living or mental health services.
- Good knowledge of person-centred care, safeguarding, risk management and mental health support.
- Sound understanding of CQC regulations, the Health and Social Care Act, Mental Health Act and relevant legislation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to motivate and support staff while maintaining high standards of care.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable.
